Luxurious Seven Bedroom Home
Mickey’s Sunny Mansion is perfect for your Florida vacation. It will be a home away from home for your whole family! Starting with the two washing machines, two dryers, and two dishwashers, there is so much to enjoy about this home that allows you to spend less time on chores and more time with your family. Add in the awesome game room and huge patio area and this house has it all.
Every room in this house is designed to help your family enjoy your vacation as much as possible. Please take a look below to get to know each room a little bit better. We have a total of seven bedrooms. Two of them are masters with King beds and adjoining bathrooms. Three of the rooms have queen size beds and the two kid rooms each have a twin bed and a twin bunk bed.
What Makes This House Special?
- Most rental houses have pools, but compare the huge patio around our pool to other houses and you’ll see that our house has significantly more space than most. You’ll have plenty of room to eat and relax outside with your family in our beautiful pool oasis. Also, most of it is covered so you can even enjoy the outside during a Florida rain storm.
- Another feature that our pool area has that most other houses don’t is our beautiful view. When you look at our pool you’ll see nothing but trees and bushes behind it. Most other rentals have nothing but other rental houses behind them and trust us when we say this small difference will make a huge impact on your ability to relax.
- Most gated communities like Emerald Island have playgrounds. However not all houses are actually in walking distance to the playgrounds. Our house is only nine houses away from one of the two playgrounds that the community offers. It’s a perfect walk for you and your kids.
- This house is so big that there is a place for everything. Places for shoes, places to hang towels, places for kids to play, places to read, etc.
- Two Dishwashers! Two Dryers! Two Washing Machines! Two Refrigerators!
- Your whole family can eat together on the patio because our table can fit 12 chairs (and did we mention that there are two dishwashers for all of the dishes from your wonderful family meals).
- Being in Emerald Island is also a huge plus because this gated community has quiet hours so you don’t have to worry about your next door neighbors blaring music that keeps your kids up all night. This is especially wonderful when you are heading to a theme park early the next morning and you want everyone to get a good night’s sleep.

Outside Front of House
Once you enter Emerald Island it is a quick drive to Mickey’s Sunny Mansion. The house is perfectly placed on the edge of the gated community with a nature preserve behind the house offering beauty and privacy. We also are an easy walk away from the children’s play ground. The palm trees and landscaping add to the tropical resort feel of the property. Mickey’s Sunny Mansion is a few miles from Disney and just minutes away from shopping and dining making it the perfect location for you and your family.
Patio & Pool
With out a doubt, this is our favorite space. Your family will love swimming in the pool, relaxing in the spa, laying out in the sun, reading in the shade, cooking on the grill and eating at the large dining table that can seat twelve. Pool heat is optional for a small charge and is a good idea during the cooler months. We also have a grill that is available for you to use for no charge. Our pool area is one of the largest around and we love that the sitting and dining area is covered and can still be used during Florida rain. Many Florida rentals offer a view of three or more houses as a backdrop to their pool, but we enjoy a beautiful nature preserve with gorgeous woodlands behind our home. We also have privacy screens between you and your next-door neighbors. After a day at a theme park, our patio, pool and spa are exactly where you will want to wind down.
Foyer/Dining Room
When you enter Mickey’s Sunny Mansion you will immediately feel at home. The soothing colors and well decorated rooms are proof of the recent refurbishment of the entire home. You will enjoy sitting and relaxing with friends and family in our comfortable sitting room, and the formal dining room is a perfect spot for a small get together. And although it is a small matter, we love having the shoe rack placed here to avoid tripping over a giant pile of shoes in the doorway!
Kitchen
The kitchen is the heart of the home. We have everything that you need to make your favorite meals for your family, and cleanup will be a snap with our two stainless steel dishwashers. The refrigerator, microwave and range are also stainless steel and brand new. The fridge has some handy features such as door view, built in water and ice dispenser and a large freezer section with an ice bin providing additional ice for your coolers or drinks. The kitchen also has a glass cooktop, above the range microwave and an oven with a built-in air fryer. With a large pantry and plenty of cabinet space this kitchen is very functional, but what you’ll really love is the view and easy access to the patio and pool area.
Living Room
You will immediately feel comfortable when you enter the living room with its large wrap around couch, 70 inch 4k TV, and Amazon Alexa. The vaulted ceiling adds a sense of grandeur to this beautifully decorated space.
Bedroom #1
This master bedroom has a King sized bed, a TV with 180 channels and digital streaming service, and a huge walk-in closet. It is large and easily accessed from the living room. It also has a view of the patio and pool area and a huge four post bed. You will love the ensuite bathroom that includes a garden tub, shower and separate toilet.
Bedroom #2
This room has a light touch of Beauty and the Beast. Belle would have loved this light and airy room with a queen size bed and large closet. The TV, nightstands and dresser makes this a very comfortable space and the view of the neighborhood and community playground only add to its charm.
Bedroom #3
Walt Disney is the inspiration for this room. It’s decorated with patents that helped make Disney World a reality and Mickey makes an appearance on the mirror and lamp. The room has a queen sized bed, night stands, dresser, TV and large closet.
Bedroom #4
If you love the ocean, this room is for you. Themed with ocean pictures, aquatic wall colors and even a sea turtle, you can be sure to swim your way to sleep at night. This room has a small closet, dresser, TV and a queen sized bed.
Bedroom #5
This is our favorite bedroom in the house. It has a bunk bed and a twin bed as well as a large closet, TV, and a bookshelf. The kids’ imaginations will come to life every evening in this room!
Bedroom #6
Your little princess will feel right at home in this room. With a bunk bed and a twin bed as well as a large closet and TV this room is perfect for your Disney vacation.
Bedroom #7
No luxury seven bedroom house is complete without a second Master Bedroom. This Master Bedroom is in the back corner of the second floor near the kid rooms. It is somehow both a secluded quiet spot, yet close to the kids. It has its own en-suite bathroom and is decorated with just a hint of Moana. Enjoy this tropical oasis with a huge dresser, walk-in closet, night stands and lamps. The bathroom has a tub/shower, large sink area and storage including a medicine cabinet.
Upstairs Shared Bathrooms
The upstairs bedrooms (other than the 2nd Master) share these two bathrooms. Each bathroom has a tub/shower and plenty of room storage. The Mickey and Minnie in Paris Bathroom is well placed between Belle and Walt’s Rooms and the Toy Story Bathroom is between Mickey’s Magical Room and the Princess Room.
Half Bath & Laundry
This small area is very important. You will find two modern washers and two modern dryers. We talk about this a lot on our website because we know that they will save you a great deal of time during your vacation, and less time doing laundry means more time having fun with your family. Also, in this area you will find a half bath which is important because it means no one will be sneaking into your master bathroom because they don’t want to walk upstairs to use the restroom. We also have a small storage area where you will find strollers and a highchair for your little one as well as a pack ‘n play.
Game Room
Everyone in the family will enjoy Mickey’s Sunny Mansions air-conditioned game room (some houses don’t air condition their game rooms since most are converted garages). The game room is equipped with a full-size pool table, air hockey table, upright 60 game arcade and even an amazing full console Sega flying arcade game. The room also includes a game table and second refrigerator.
