Meet the Family

Hi, we are Ben and Kristi and we have been bringing our family to Emerald Island since our son, who is now taller than Kristi, was a tiny little guy. We fell in love with this community because it is so peaceful! We love the hustle and bustle of the Orlando area, but being able to come home to a lovely house in a quiet neighborhood gave our vacations a great balance. We often spend a couple of days of our vacation just enjoying our pool and spa. Our kids look forward to the calm pool days as much as they look forward to the theme park days!

We tried renting other locations, but we were always looking for a house in a gated community with a large patio and pool area, as well as a view of a pond or nature preserve. We also wanted to be close to Disney and restaurants. I would look and look, but we always ended up right back in Emerald Island. We’ve come to think of it as our Florida neighborhood and that’s why we decided to buy our own home.
